David Beckham back to Old Trafford

VIVAnews - Former Manchester United midfielder David Beckham has awaited his presence in a friendly match against Juventus at Old Trafford on Tuesday next week. The match itself was held as a tribute to former colleague Beckham at United, Gary Neville.

Neville is almost 20 years the Red Devils defend announced his retirement in February. He and Beckham became friends after taking part of the Class of '92 that contains the young players forging manager Sir Alex Ferguson. Neville even be the best man for David Beckham on her wedding day.

However, the arrival of Beckham was still in doubt. Therefore, the LA Galaxy-Beckham defended the club now, still have to wait three games in eight days.

"This is a great event for Gary. celebrate in a way that certainly does. At that time, in the era of 1992, is an important phase in our lives. So, this (friendly match) will be a great event," said Beckham was quoted from the Premiership Talk Friday May 20, 2011.

"It's important for me to be present for Gary. But the final decision is still in the hands of the boss (Ferguson) and presenting organizations. We'll see,"added the former Manchester United player in the 1993-2003 era.

If Beckham finally be leaving Old Trafford in the UK, complaints also come from the Galaxy fans. Because, not the first time Beckham has missed the club game in the middle of the season. However, Galaxy manager Bruce Arena insisted that Beckham's departure has no effect because he was being rested. (eh)
