VIVAnews - Manchester United confirm will hold a parade of champions Home Premier League (EPL) on May 30, 2011. Chief Executive David Gill said that championship trophy will be paraded around the city of Manchester.
David Gill claimed to have obtained input from MU fans to hold this parade. He promised to do after a void at the time of the MU into a double winner in 2008.
"Solving the trophy a record in the league to be the biggest day in the history of the club," said David Gill as reported by the Goal. "We received many letters and e-mails from fans about the importance of public celebration of that achievement. And we are sure this is the best way to appreciate it."
The parade was held two days after the MU appears in the Champions League final. Kubu Red Devils hope the parade was not just for the EPL trophy, but at the same time celebrating the double Champions League winner with four trophies in the history of MU.
As usual, the plan of the United players will be paraded around the city of Manchester on the roof of an open bus with the trophy that has been achieved. Parade will be held at lunch time.
This plan is getting rave reviews from Manchester City Council leader Sir Richard Leese. "The ability to Manchester United won the trophy in the 19th is very meaningful and historic. We will ensure fans came in the celebration was to give congratulations to the hero. May 30 will be a historic day for the whole city."
