Sir Alex: Berbatov Not Protest Reserved

VIVAnews - Manchester United manager Sir Alex Ferguson, admitted striker Dimitar Berbatov never complained even more reserved lately.

Berbatov actually always been a mainstay of Sir Alex at the beginning of the season. But since half of the season, Bulgarian international striker was unable to compete with Javier Hernandez.

Although more recently sat on the bench, but Berbatov remains entrenched at the top of the list of English Premier League top scorer. Together with Manchester City striker Carlos Tevez, Berbatov has collected 21 goals.

Sir Alex admitted Berbatov never complained even though more often sitting on the bench. Sir Alex also hoping former Tottenham Hotspur striker could be top scorer this season.

Berbatov certainly would be a starter when MU against Blackpool at Old Trafford, Sunday, May 22, 2011. Berbatov will compete with Tevez.

"The presence of Javier Hernandez makes me trouble putting Berbatov on top of him. Level appearances, scored Hernandez and speed is astounding," said Sir Alex as reported by the Telegraph.

"Dimitar understand that. He never complained. He will play Sunday (opposite Blackpool) and hopefully he will be top scorer,"said Sir Alex.

Despite ensure Premier League title this season, Sir Alex will still lose a strong team against Blackpool. Berbatov likely to be a duet with Wayne Rooney in attack.

In the midfield three players have been confirmed down, Paul Scholes, Darren Fletcher and Anderson. Darron Gibson remaining chance to win a place in midfield.

Patrice Evra will remain a reliable left back. Jonny Evans, Chris Smalling and Fabio da Silva will most likely be played. Goalkeeper Edwin van der Sar confirmed as captain of the team in the game tomorrow.
