Wenger: Arsenal Fans Angry Entitled

VIVAnews - Arsene Wenger did not protest with derision by fans of Arsenal when the Gunners defeated Aston Villa 2-1 in English League continued at the Emirates Stadium on Sunday, May 15, 2011.

Wenger assessing the fans have a right to be angry because the achievements of Arsenal this season. "It's not embarrassing, I think to thank the fans is our duty. The season is not good, but whatever the outcome, you have to respect the fans because it has support throughout the season,"said Wenger as reported by the Mirror.

Arsenal appearances this season is actually quite good, especially in the first half of the season. Cesc Fabregas and his friends even had time to lead the Premiership standings.

However, in the second half of the season, everything went bad. Unable to compete with Manchester United in the Premier League, was eliminated from the Champions League and lost to Birmingham City in the League Cup final.

"No matter what I feel, you have to respect this club. I feel lucky 15 years here stadiums are always full, so when fans are not happy, they can show it," said Wenger. (adi)
